LEARN PLAY GROW

PRESCHOOL - The Y of Klamath Falls offers full day and half day preschool programs. Our days are filled with the arts, science and hands-on discovery activities along with weekly swimming. USDA approved breakfast, lunch, and snack are served every day.

AFTERSCHOOL - Kids in Kindergarten through 6th grade enjoy this time of organized crafts and activities after school each day. They are served a USDA-approved Super Snack and follow a curriculum of activities that includes art, science, sports, fitness, homework and SWIMMING twice a week!

DISCOVERY CAMP

AGES

For ages 2 1/2 years to those entering kindergarten in Fall 2011. (Must be potty- trained)

HOURS

8:30am- 1:00pm Monday through Thursday (no camp on Fridays) Extended hours include 7:00-8:30am and 1:00-6:00PM

MEALS

Meals included with camp cost.

Breakfast- 8:30 AM

Lunch- 11:50 AM

Snack- 3:00PM (for extended hours)

COST

$25 Registration Fee

$10 "Hold My Spot" deposit per camp week

$60 Y Members/$70 community

Extended Hours: $10 Y Members/ $12 per day Community. (Extended hours must be scheduled & paid in advance. This fee is not eligible for financial assistance.

FIVE CAMP WEEKS

ADVENTURE WEEK JUNE 27-30

Treasure hunts, dinosaur expeditions, astronaut adventures, and much much more! Come explore with us as we find information about the world around us in unexpected places!

WHEN I GROW UP I WANT TO BE... JULY 11-14

Firefighters, police, chefs, veternarians, lifeguards, scientists, carpenters... how many fun jobs can we explore in just one week? Hands- on experiences and activities will teach us to dream about what we want to do one day.

WACKY SCIENCE JULY 25-28

Motion, chemical reactions, light and dark, sounds and experiments that will amaze us- Our minds will be dazzled by this awesome introduction to basic science.

PICASSO AT THE Y AUGUST 8-12

Messes galore! Creating has never been more fun - painting, plaster, and more. We will use our wildest imaginations to make some great keepsakes to take home.

ADVENTURE WEEK II AUGUST 22-25

We just can't pack it all into one week! Astronaut Adventures and Storytelling to take us to new places we have never thought to go. Imagination required.
